Se spune adeseori că ridicolul ucide. Este oare aceasta adevărat? Absolut deloc! Atunci când în noi se trezeşte capacitatea de a sesiza ridicolul, dacă privim cu atenţie în jurul nostru, vom constata că ridicolul nu-i afectează cel mai adesea deloc pe cei în cauză, care se bălăcesc în el. Faptul că ei nu sunt deloc afectaţi de ridicol evidenţiază, fără îndoială, că ei ignoră ipostaza ridicolă în care se află şi nu-şi dau deloc seama de aceasta.
